Reinhild Zuckschwerdt in "The Paths to Success"
Oliver Meyer He is a man of many experiences: working for an oil company after his studies he collaborated on the development of unleaded fuel; he worked in as an architect in a basement in Zehlendorf and learned about planning and construction management working for low wages. In Dusseldorf he saw life from the client’s side for two years and after building petrol stations in a row in New Laender, he decided for a change of jobs and became an executive employee with a medium-sized building promoter. The chief executive of SerTec Immobilien Management GmbH cares for the projects he directs as if they were his own property. He knows the crucial success factors in the building sector: cost, quality, deadlines – and if the projects allows it, innovation. Smaller refurbishment projects are concerned with the same carefulness as million Euro projects. His first big deal for instance was the new headquarter of Berlin Water, located directly behind the town hall, he was the solely responsible project manager. Be good at what you do and either do it right or leave it, is his device. During his time as maker of petrol station in New Laender he managed to cut construction time in half, while scaling down working accidents to null. By now Oliver Meyer has long been working nationwide; his employees are in charge of projects in many German States and he himself makes acquisitions all over Europe. He looks, however, to head East. In Russia he plans to develop many square miles of greenfield and in the Baltic states, where beautiful old buildings are developed more and more into seaside resorts, he alsohas prospective projects. In his private life, the tall northerner lives happily with his wife and two children in his home in Lower Saxony in the middle of nature. They give the avowed Christian support and energy, in the same way his belief does. Family is now the major topic in the life of the property manager Oliver Meyer with his principle office in Berlin.
